Ramaroshan Lake

Ramaroshan Lake is a popular tourist destination located in the Achham district of Nepal. The lake is situated at an altitude of 2500 meters and is known for its stunning beauty and scenic surroundings.

The area surrounding Ramaroshan Lake is home to 18 different meadows, known as patans, and is considered as one of the habitats of the national bird of Nepal, Danfe (Lophophorus). In 2020, boating was introduced to the area and tourists now have the opportunity to encounter the Himalayan Munal, the national bird of Nepal. The route to Ramaroshan Lake is also surrounded by the beautiful forest of Rhododendron, making it a truly breathtaking experience.
